The HAF consortium, a pairing of Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) of the Netherlands and AF Offshore Decom, part of Norway's AF Gruppen, has won a contract from Marathon Oil to decommission the US operator’s Brae Bravo facility in the UK North Sea, writes Rob Watts.
The engineering, preparation, removal and disposal (EPRD) work covers the topsides, the flare jacket and bridge and the main jacket of the platform.
