US shale producer Halcon Resources has reached a settlement with investor Fir Tree Partners after agreeing board changes as another operator, PDC Resources, looks to fight back against its own activist investor.
Halcon said last week it had reached a deal with Fir Tree by agreeing to change its board of directors after months of the two sides being in dispute.
