The package includes about 81,000 net acres in Williams, Mountrail, McKenzie and Dunn counties as well as 10,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day of current production.
The properties have proven reserves of 42.4 million barrels of oil equivalent, about 88% of which is believed to be oil, Halcon said.
