The newly completed Gudrun-2 well was drilled as a deviated hole from the Harriet Alpha platform in permit TL/1 in the Carnarvon basin.
The probe was drilled to a total depth of 4088 metres. It successfully intersected a 6.6-metre oil column within the flag sandstone reservoir updip from the discovery well, Gudrun-1, which was drilled in October 2001 and struck a five-metre oil column.
