Harriet partners push for Simpson output despite mixed well results

The joint venture recently discovered an oil-bearing reservoir of about 15 metres with the Simpson 10 well.

Simpson 10 is being drilled from the Simpson Bravo Platform using the jack-up rig Ensco 106. The well came in at the lower end of pre-drill expectations, according to partner Tap Oil.

However, it will still be completed before the jack-up moves back to complete Simpson 9, after which both will be tied in for production.
