Tropical Storm Harvey pushed into Louisiana Wednesday morning, soaking another vital energy-producing state after all but leaving the Houston area late Tuesday.
Harvey made landfall early Wednesday in south-west Louisiana and about 30 miles west of Lake Charles, Louisiana at 10 a.m. local time, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The storm, which has already shattered rainfall records, is expected to drop an additional three to six inches from south-western Louisiana and eastern Texas to western Tennessee and Kentucky through Friday.
