Singapore-based offshore floating solutions provider HBA Offshore has moved into the subsea, installation and marine services sector with the award of a key contract for the Eni-operated Merakes giant gas field development off Indonesia.
HBA, which was formed by ex-Bumi Armada chief executive Hassan Basma, has landed a one-year plus options contract to supply the dynamically positioned (DP3) accommodation work boat Telford 25 for Merakes.
