Heerema Marine Contractors is standing by to receive a significant contract at Repsol’s Ca Rong Do (Red Emperor) oil and gas project off Vietnam, writes Russell Searancke.
The Dutch company has been competing against McDermott and Subsea7 for a substantial workscope.
This comprises the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines assignment, as well as the transport and installation of the Car Rong Do tension leg wellhead platform, and installation of the turret mooring system for the floating production, storage offloading vessel.
