Contractor Helix Energy Solutions posted its highest quarterly revenue numbers since 2014 as it saw a continued rebound in offshore activity.

The Houston-based company reported net income of $31.6 million on revenue of $212.6 million for the three months to September. Helix expects to see the improvement continue into next year despite an expected seasonal dip thanks to a contract for the Q7000 well-intervention vessel, which in August was signed for an 80-day deal off Nigeria, with the work scheduled to begin in early January.
