The platform supply vessel Hellespont Drive was boarded by four robbers armed with long knives in the early hours of Thursday morning, with the assailants making off with ship stores.
A report from the International Maritime Bureau contends that the attack occurred while the Liberia-flagged unit was berthed at Takoradi port. However, the harbor master at the port was unaware of such an incident when contacted by Upstream on Thursday.
