Heritage Oil is on the prowl for a partner to drill a high-impact exploration well in southern Tanzania next year.
Located in the South Rukwa licence, the wildcat would target the 300 million barrel Hammerkop-A prospect, which is located largely under the southern waters of shallow Lake Rukwa but extends onshore.
The well will be drilled from the shore and will be deviated.
