Seven fields, including the giant Bergading discovery, have been earmarked under the Hess-operated North Malay basin gas development.
As well as the FSO, the first phase of the multi-platform North Malay basin gas project comprises a central processing platform at Bergading and three wellhead platforms at Zetung, Kezumba and Anggerik.
Hess originally intended to commission a newbuild FSO for the North Malay basin gas project.
