After warning last April that it was considering such a move “in consultation with our employees” Hess began dismissing staff from the Adelphi Building on John Adam Street this month.
According to a source, the layoffs will be conducted in phases into December.
Just under 400 employees are expected to be let go, but a few might be invited to relocate to Houston.
