Production has ceased at the first of the six platforms that are installed at Eni’s Hewett complex in the UK southern North Sea as the Italian operator moves ahead with its decommission plans in the area, writes Rob Watts.
Eni officials said at a southern North Sea supply chain event this week that the Hewett 48/29B platform ceased production late last week.
