Xodus London & Middle East operations director Rebecca Hewlett quite literally heard the call to join the energy engineering and advisory company.
It was 2010 and Hewlett, a specialist in environmental impact assessment, and her husband Adam, an immunologist, were living in Melbourne, their home city, but keen to return to Edinburgh.
The couple had lived in the Scottish capital for several years until 2006, shortly after the birth of their first son, Eric, when they returned to Australia to “reconnect with family”.
