US proppant provider Hi-Crush plans to add a second in-basin Permian sand mine as it expands operations in the region and beyond, writes Caroline Evans.
The company said this week it had signed an amendment to an existing sand supply and services agreement with a "supermajor E&P customer" that would anchor the development of the 3 million tonnes per annum facility.
