Malaysia’s Hibiscus Petroleum is absorbed in an offshore infill drilling programme at its recently-acquired North Sabah multi-field asset off Sabah.
The company is using the jack-up drilling rig PV Drilling-I with the aim of boosting oil production at the St Joseph and South Furious fields.
The St Joseph drilling programme, which will entail the drilling of three infill producers utilising a triple splitter wellhead on the St Joseph jacket-A platform, is expected to add 2600 barrels per day of oil production.
