Beach Energy has emphasised that it wants to bring exploration risk down to appraisal well level, but it still has some big high-impact gas wells in its sights, writes Russell Searancke.
These opportunities are in New Zealand's Canterbury basin, and Australia's Bonaparte and Carnarvon basin.
The Canterbury and Bonaparte were acquired in the takeover of Lattice Energy. while the Carnarvon is a farm-in from late 2017.
