Hurricane Energy has assigned proven and probable volumes of 37.3 million barrels to the early production scheme phase of its Lancaster development off the UK over an initial six-year period, which could rise to 62.1 million barrels if the early production system (EPS) is extended to 10 years, writes Rob Watts.

Hurricane and Bluewater have started front-end engineering and design work on the floating production, storage and offloading unit, while TechnipFMC is lined up to deliver subsea hardware.
