Hurricane Energy's hook-up of an early production system at the Lancaster development off the UK has hit a new setback, forcing the field's floating production, storage and offloading vessel to return to shore for a second time.
The pull-in rope failed during the buoy hook-up operation on 2 February, immediately prior to engaging the latches in the turret to lock the buoy into position.
