Canadian independent Husky Energy has awarded China Oilfield Service Ltd a contract to charter its jack-up rig Hai Yang Shi You 943 for a four-well campaign at blocks 15/33 and 16/25 in the Pearl River Mouth basin of the South China Sea.
Drilling is expected to start in the first quarter of next year and there is also an option for one further well.
