Indonesia’s upstream regulator, BPMigas was set to approve the proposal to develop the finds using a floating production unit and a pair of wellhead platforms.
The proposed FPU will handle 175 million cubic feet per day of gas, including 110 MMcfd from a platform at MDA and 55 MMcfd from the planned structure for MBH.
However, Husky’s plans may be delayed after a recent call from BPMigas for the field operator to own, instead of lease, the MDA and MBH production floater, according to sources.
