Canadian independent Husky Energy reported a steep drop in net earnings in the third quarter, as lower oil prices and lower US refining margins hit the company's books.
The Calgary-based company reported net earnings of C$273 million (US$209 million) compared with earnings of C$545 million in the same period a year ago.
