Husky Energy was set to resume oil production from its SeaRose floating, production, storage and offloading vessel off eastern Canada as Upstream went to press, just days after the industry regulator withdrew an earlier suspension related to an iceberg near miss.
The Canada-Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board ordered Husky to suspend production on 17 January after reading the preliminary report findings from a formal inquiry handled by the board’s safety and environmental compliance officers.
