Calgary-based Husky Energy is still waiting on a weather window to retrieve a pipeline connector off eastern Canada, an operation that is critical to restarting production from some development wells on its White Rose oilfield, writes Iain Esau.
Husky was forced to shut in production at White Rose in mid-November after a subsea oil leak.
The industry regulator, the Canada-Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board, only allowed limited production to resume in January after liaising with Husky about procedures.
