The Hutton TLP, which used to serve as a production platform for Conoco in the North Sea before it was decommissioned, is headed for Cadiz, where it could be outfitted for drilling or field development.
According to one industry source, the six-column hull will be converted for use as a drilling rig for Mexican construction group Grupo R. Officials with the company were not available for comment.
