Hess confirmed the award of the CPP contract to the pair, which was predicted by Upstream in late April, as well as a multi-wellhead platform deal to Malaysia-listed SapuraKencana following approval from Malaysia’s Petroleum Management unit.
Hyundai Heavy Industries and Aker Solutions are understood to have started work earlier this week on the contracted engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning work on the CPP earmarked for the Bergading field and a wellhead structure.
