Hyundai has dominated the newbuild production floater market since 2001, having won eight out of the 12 contracts awarded so far and delivered five projects to date.
All five projects were completed within the contracted timeframe, the yard is quick to point out.
The company is also on track to build its first cylindrical FPSO after clinching Eni’s Goliat floater, destined for Norway.
