South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering & Construction has won a $727 million contract to provide a gas treatment facility for Saudi Arabian state oil giant Saudi Aramco’s Uthmaniyah gas plant.
Hyundai expects to complete the onshore project by November 2019.
The gas treatment project aims to separate and collect natural gas fractions such as ethane and propane through a demethaniser from gas produced in the region.
