Ali Hached, senior adviser to Algeria’s Oil Minister Youcef Yousfi, said work on the last of the plant’s three process-ing units was nearing completion.
“Two thirds of capacity is already on stream and the last unit will start in a few weeks, so In Amenas will be back at full capacity in a few weeks,’’ he said.
In Amenas, which has a processing capacity of about 30 million cubic metres per day, was currently pumping at about 20 MMcmd, he added.
