India is pumping $60 billion into developing the gas supply and distribution network in the country as it aims to more than double the share of natural gas in the energy mix to above 15% by 2030, writes Nishant Ugal.
Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said this week the investment is being put into building gas network and new gas import facilities to link all states by mid-2024.
