INDONESIA plans to offer new flexible terms for its upcoming licensing round whereby operators, known as contractors, will be able to propose profit-sharing terms and offer the signature bonus they are willing to pay.
The new terms applicable to the 2016 round are a marked departure from the previous model, which effectively offered “a take it or leave it” production sharing split dictated by the government.
