Industry regulator SKK Migas is signalling that Indonesia is prepared to offer fresh incentives to boost upstream activity against the backdrop of ever-declining oil production, writes Amanda Battersby.
Jafee Arizon Suardin, SKK Migas deputy for planning, said there were many undeveloped discoveries in the nation and that in a lot of cases the lack of exploitation was because of unattractive fiscal terms.
