Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (EDSM) is expected to offer five blocks within weeks under the first phase of its 2019 licensing exercise.

Three exploration blocks — Anambas, West Kaimana and West Ganal — and two containing former producing acreage — West Kampar and Selat Panjang — will be made available.

“The terms and conditions (of the upcoming auction) have been finalised,” said Djoko Siswanto, the ministry’s Director General of Oil & Gas.
