Eliud Kipchoge is hoping the second time is a charm as the Olympic champion and current record-holder attempts to become the first person to run a marathon in less than two hours this October in Vienna, Austria.

The city’s historic Prater park has been chosen for the site of the Ineos 1:59 Challenge, which the petrochemical giant described as “the venue that will give Kipchoge the optimum conditions to write himself into the history books”.
