Japan's Inpex has joined Anadarko to farm in to four blocks near its Lucius spar in the deep-water Gulf of Mexico, including two tracts immediately adjacent to where Equinor, then Statoil, reported its Logan discovery.
The blocks in question include Keathley Canyon 921 and 965, two tracts that lie just east of the Lucius and Hadrian fields that are already producing via the Lucius spar.
