The development will require the building and installation of offshore production facilities to process gas and condensate from the Ichthys field, and a new 850-kilometre subsea pipeline to the new Blaydin Point LNG processing facility near Darwin.
The LNG plant will comprise two trains with a combined production capacity of 8 million tonnes per annum, increasing to 10 million tpa after debottlenecking.
