Japan’s Inpex is making steady progress in Indonesia towards the front-end engineering and design phase of its Abadi liquefied natural gas project, writes Russell Searancke.
The company has this year been working on another version of a development plan to submit to the government based on the results of pre-FEED work that was completed in late 2018.
Inpex is not commenting on when it hopes to begin the FEED work, but optimistic sources said Inpex is gearing up to invite bids in the second half of 2019.
