Japanese operator Inpex has finalised a deal with Indonesian authorities to extend the production sharing contract that covers the Abadi liquefied natural gas project, writes Josh Lewis.
Inpex confirmed it signed an amendment to the Masela block PSC last week, which included a seven-year additional time allocation, to accommodate the additional seven years spent studying the previously proposed floating LNG development scheme, and 20-year extension for the Abadi LNG project.
