Pemex says it will take a close look at why its farm-out proposal for the shallow-water Ayin-Batsil area in last week's farm-out offering failed to attract bids, hoping to revisit the matter in the future to successfully bring in a partner.
Pemex chief executive Jose Antonio Gonzalez Anaya said the company would consider a wide range of factors that may have played a role, and added that the timing of Hurricane Harvey in the middle of the crucial bidding period did not help matters.
