A fatal accident inquiry has been ordered into the deaths of four people who were in a helicopter that crashed flying from North Sea oil and gas platforms to Sumburgh in Shetland six years ago.
Scotland’s Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service confirmed the inquiry will be held, but no date has yet been set.
The CHC Helicopter-operated Super Puma L2 aircraft hit the sea on its approach to Sumburgh Airport on 23 August 2013.
