The company said in early May that the Elk-4 well, which spudded last November, was a gas and liquids discovery. Since then it has carried out a pair of drillstem tests, with a third to follow.
InterOil was "pleased with the extremely positive results" of the second test, which flowed 14.1 million cubic feet per day of gas and 175 barrels per day of condensate.
