Norwegian police and the country’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) have launched investigations after one person was killed and another injured in an accident at the Aker BP-operated Tambar field.
The accident happened around midday on 7 December during maintenance work on a seawater pump on the jack-up rig Maersk Interceptor, which is currently drilling production wells at the North Sea field.
