Australian offshore explorer IPB Petroleum is working with the national regulator on a project to run an extended production test on a marginal exploration discovery.
IPB has already applied to drill the Idris appraisal well on Block WA-424-P but, as part of the same application, has requested approval to then run an oil flow test on the original discovery called Gwydion-1.
