According to Petrobras exploration and production director Solange Guedes, the Cidade de Itaguai floating production, storage and offloading vessel recently left the BrasFels shipyard in Rio de Janeiro state and is on its way to the location.
“There is a real chance that the Cidade de Itaguai FPSO will begin production in the third quarter... it was originally scheduled to enter operations in the fourth quarter,” Guedes said.
