Iran has welcomed an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) ruling imposing a compromise price discount on gas sales to Turkey as potentially a new beginning for gas co-operation between the two countries.
The binding ruling could clear the way for higher volumes of gas exports to Turkey, as well as opening the way for Turkey becoming a transit route for Iranian gas to Europe.
