The vessel being sold is the Sorena, which has a gross tonnage of 152,000 and is valued by IOOC at more than €2.8 million ($3.2 million). The Sorena was built by Mitsubishhi in 1975 and was subsequently registered at Iran’s Bushehr Port.
IOOC said the unit is anchored at the Bahregan oilfield in the northern Persian Gulf, where there are a number of floating storage and export facilities servicing the Bahregan, Hendijan and other nearby oilfields.
