The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is asking international oil companies and exploration and production players interested in Iranian oil and gas projects to submit their names for a listing of foreign companies deemed eligible for upstream work in the country.
The planned listing of eligible companies follows an earlier list announced for local E&P companies qualified for upstream work.
NIOC and the Oil Ministry are in the final stages of launching a post-sanctions foreign investment drive to mobilise $100 billion in foreign financing over the next five years.
