Oil Minister Hussain Shahristani said a tender—similar to the one issued for the Nasseriya field in the south—will be out soon.
“We have not decided on the number yet, but there will be more fields announced shortly,”Shahristani said.
“The companies that have studied those fields are in a position to make an offer immediately on an engineering, procurement and construction basis.”
