Israel’s Cabinet approved an amended national gas plan on 16 August that will pave the wave for a revival of the Leviathan gas project if parliament (Knesset) also gives the plan a green light.
The decision will be cautiously welcomed by Leviathan’s stakeholders, US independent Noble Energy and Delek Group, although they will not be counting their chickens until the Knesset votes.
